Sabbath

Head DidduBuddy

If you meet my AmStaff-American Bulldog mix, Sabbath, you likely wouldn’t even realize that he is deaf. At True Love, we know that deaf dogs are especially awesome, and they learn just as well as any other dog!

More than just a pretty face, Sab is a brilliant and enthusiastic training partner. He enjoys participating in AKC Rally Obedience and specialized Scentwork.

Besides being a wonderful helper for nervous and reactive dogs, Sab is in charge of such critical daily tasks as finding and retrieving Mom’s lost phone and keys, and delivering my socks each morning.

Danni

Director of Squirrels

Danni is a mixed breed rescued from the Cayman Islands; what the locals there affectionately call ‘Cayman Cocounts’. She was found as a very frightened feral puppy with her mother and sister. Some amazing people worked together to bring her to NY, where she came to live with me as my ‘foster’… and very quickly became my Best Little Girl.

Danni continues to teach me so much about working with fearful and sensitive dogs, and astound me every day with her brave and adventurous spirit. Training is a shared journey, Danni reminds me, and the best is yet to come.

Although Danni enjoys the life of luxury in Westchester, she stays true to her wild island roots.
